This expansive bungalow was built by a High Street merchant in the 1920s. In the 1960s it was converted to flats and the surrounding land slowly subdivided and sold. The new owners bravely took on the task to restore and conserve this grand home. Using a skilled team of tradesmen, the layers were peeled back and fragments were revealed. Further investigation was undertaken and missing elements returned. A most rewarding project that is still continuing.
